Q. How old must I be to get my Pennsylvania drivers license? A. You must be 16 years old to apply for your learners permit. After a 6 month probationary period, at least 50 hours of practice behind-the-wheel and permission from a parent or guardian, you can take the test to get your junior license.
Q. Does Blue Bell Driving School provide pick-up service?
A. Once a lesson or test is scheduled a Blue Bell instructor will pick you up at school, home, work or any place within reason and drop you off any place within reason.
Q. How soon will I get behind-the-wheel?
A. After a short introduction and evaluation your instructor will determine a comfort level and decide where to begin. It's our goal to get you driving comfortably in a stress free environment as quickly as your abilities allow.
Q. What is the most difficult aspect of the driving exam?
A. Some might say parallel parking, others controls or maybe the actual road test. Blue Bell Driving School takes students to test almost every day and we find that the biggest single hurdle is controlling nervousness. When Blue Bell Driving School takes you to your Pennsylvania Driving Exam you will be meticulously prepared to pass - since being prepared is the number one thing you can do to ensure success.
Q. Do I need to take both theory classes and behind the wheel lessons?
A. No, However many major insurance companies offer generous discounts for completing approved 6 & 30 programs.*
